Each Loretana interchangeable piece is a complete set where the visible decorative element (a halo, a drop, a stone cluster) screws off the hoop, post or ring shank and is replaced with another element from the same set. No catalogue of charms. No mixed-brand fittings. Every interchangeable set arrives as a closed system: the base plus the swap elements designed for it.

The mechanism is a precision screw thread, not a hinge or magnet. With clean fingers and a slow quarter-turn, the swap takes seconds and stays secure through full daily wear.

The screw thread is designed to stay tight through daily wear. We recommend checking that the element is fully tightened after each change, the same way you would check a clasp before leaving the house.

The 925 sterling silver base of a Loretana piece is built to last decades with proper care. Rhodium or 14K gold plating typically holds 2 to 5 years of daily wear before showing meaningful thinning at high-friction points, at which point we offer professional replating to restore the original finish.

Stones, screw threads and clasps are inspected before dispatch and protected by our 24-month warranty. With basic care, a Loretana piece stays in rotation indefinitely.

Loretana pieces are designed and selected by Laureta in Lithuania and produced to our own specification by our manufacturing partner. Every piece is then hallmarked and inspected in Kaunas before it ships to you.

Loretana MB is registered with the Lithuanian Business Register (company code 307418489) and with Lietuvos prabavimo rūmai, the Lithuanian state assay office, under order 4819767. Each piece carries the 925 hallmark alongside our registered responsibility mark.

The base of every Loretana piece is 925 sterling silver, hallmarked by Lietuvos prabavimo rūmai and identified by our registered responsibility mark. Plating is either rhodium (a cool mirror-bright silver tone) or 14K gold (a warm gold tone). Stones are AAAAA-grade cubic zirconia.

All Loretana pieces are nickel-free and hypoallergenic, compliant with the EU Nickel Directive, and safe for sensitive skin and daily wear.

No. Loretana uses AAAAA-grade cubic zirconia — a synthetic stone, not a natural gemstone. We say this plainly because it is exactly why a Loretana piece costs what it does rather than ten times more.

Cubic zirconia is precision-cut and faceted, rates 8.5 on the Mohs hardness scale, and holds its brilliance under daily wear. It is not a diamond, an emerald, a ruby or a sapphire, and we never describe it as one. Colour names such as "emerald green" or "sapphire blue" on our product pages refer to the colour of the zirconia, not to the gemstone.

Engravable pieces can be laser-engraved with up to 25 characters, in a choice of 15 font styles. You enter your text on the product page before adding to cart. Engraved orders may take up to 14 business days to dispatch.

No. Under EU consumer law, goods made to a customer's personal specification are excluded from the right of withdrawal. Please check your spelling carefully before ordering — we engrave exactly the text you submit. Defective or damaged engraved pieces are of course covered by our warranty.

Yes. The interchangeable system is built for this. A Loretana base with two or three swap elements gives the wearer multiple looks from a single gift, so the recipient adapts the piece to her own style rather than committing to one design. The minimalist base pieces — stacking bands, simple hoops, classic studs — also fit almost any wardrobe.

Loretana pieces work for the moments that matter: birthdays, name days, anniversaries, graduations, Mother's Day, and milestone purchases for yourself. Each piece arrives in our green Loretana box with a brand card, ready to give.

Loretana rings are listed in EU sizes 16 to 19 (including half sizes), where the number is the inner diameter in millimetres. To find your size:

• Measure a ring that already fits well: inner diameter in mm = your EU size.
• Or wrap a strip of paper around your finger, mark the overlap, measure the length in mm, and divide by 3.14.
• Measure at the end of the day when fingers are at their natural size, not first thing in the morning.

We ship to Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia. We do not currently ship outside the Baltic States.

Every Loretana piece is inspected and dispatched from Kaunas within 1 business day. Omniva delivery timelines after dispatch are:

• Lithuania: 1 to 3 business days
• Latvia: 2 to 3 business days
• Estonia: 2 to 4 business days

Yes. You have 30 days from delivery to request a return or exchange — more than the 14-day right of withdrawal EU law gives you. The piece must be unworn, in original condition, and in the original Loretana box. Returns via an Omniva Parcel Machine are free of charge.

Two exceptions apply: pierced earrings cannot be returned for hygiene reasons once dispatched, and engraved or personalised pieces cannot be returned as they are made to your specification. Both exceptions are lifted if the item arrives defective. Full conditions on our Return and Refund Policy.

We accept Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, American Express, UnionPay, Apple Pay, Google Pay and Shop Pay. All transactions are securely encrypted by Shopify Payments. Listed prices include VAT. There are no hidden fees.

Every Loretana piece is protected by a 24-month warranty from the date of purchase, covering manufacturing and craftsmanship defects. This is in addition to your statutory rights under EU consumer law. If a defect appears — a loose stone, a misaligned thread, a clasp that fails under normal use — email us at info@loretana.com with your order number and a clear photo. We repair or replace at no charge.

Normal wear — plating thinning, light scratches, stone movement after impact — is not covered, but can be serviced at cost.

Before shipping, each piece passes Lietuvos prabavimo rūmai inspection and carries two marks: the 925 hallmark certifying the silver content, and our registered responsibility mark identifying Loretana MB as the seller. Lithuania operates a compulsory hallmarking system, so this is not decorative — it is a verifiable certification of what you bought, recognised across the EU.

One base with three swap elements replaces three separate pieces. Fewer items produced, fewer items shipped, fewer items eventually discarded. That is the honest sustainability claim we can make, and we prefer to make only that one.
